Why not visit Pismo Beach, California? Pismo Beach is located on the central coast of California, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. You can do it by car, camper, boat, train, bus or airport, flight to San Luis Obispo County Regional.
There are no large amusement or theme parks or crowds, only 23 (23) miles of beautiful sandy beaches and dunes, golf courses attended, woodlands and surrounding villages.
Accommodation is plentiful, with everything from parks camping and RVs, hotels, cheap motels in various price ranges from luxury hotels and spas. There is no shortage of restaurants, cafes, restaurants, family restaurants seafood and grills as well.
Go whale watching for gray whales, humpback and killer. See dolphins, sea otters, sea lions, pelicans and gulls. See Hugh of colonies of giant elephant up close and personal, dig your own clams for lunch or dinner, visit one of the most spectacular Monarch Butterfly Groves in the country, a day of fishing on the pier 1200 feet.
Play golf at nearby courses, visit wineries together, walk a short duration (less than an hour) along the coast and a visit to Hearst Castle, or a short duration (less than half an hour) Coast to reduce and visit Solvang “the Danish capital of America.”
Take one day at a half day or full of sport fishing albacore tuna, cod, salmon and more. A ride through the dunes and ocean beach. Take paragliding or kiteboarding lessions. Go ATV four wheeling, body boarding or surfing or take 30 minutes of “Flying Boat” flight along the coast in a two-seater “flying boat” ultralight, shopping.
